Gym / Studio Self-Access Facility & Security Procedures
The Y-curate Home Gym operates on a self-access basis without staff supervision.
All users are responsible for helping maintain a safe, secure, clean, and respectful environment for everyone using the facility.
By using the facility, you agree to follow the procedures below.
1. Access & Entry
Access to the facility is permitted only during your booked session time.
Your personal access code will be provided in your booking confirmation email and booking reminder email.
Access codes are confidential and must not be shared with any unauthorised person.
Only the number of people included within your booking type may enter the facility.
Do not allow unknown individuals access to the building.
2. Arrival at the Facility
Please enter the facility calmly and respectfully.
If the space is not presented in an acceptable condition upon arrival, please notify Y-curate as soon as possible via info@ycurate.com.
Users should allow sufficient time within their booking slot for both setup and reset of the space.
3. During Your Session
Use all equipment safely and responsibly.
Exercise within your own capabilities.
Respect neighbouring occupiers and maintain reasonable noise levels.
Keep walkways and exits clear at all times.
Do not use any equipment that appears unsafe or damaged.
4. Cleaning & Resetting the Space
At the end of your session, users must:
Re-rack all weights and return equipment to its designated place.
Return mats, benches, bars, and accessories neatly.
Wipe down equipment and surfaces used during the session where cleaning materials are provided.
Remove all personal belongings and rubbish.
Leave the facility in substantially the same condition in which it was found.
The space is designed to operate respectfully between consecutive users. Please leave it ready for the next booking.
5. End of Session & Departure
Sessions must finish within the booked time period.
Ensure lights, music, fans, or equipment are switched off where appropriate.
Ensure doors close securely when leaving.
If you are the final person leaving the building, you are responsible for ensuring the premises are locked and secured in accordance with the instructions provided.
6. Safety & Emergencies
The facility operates without staff supervision.
Users train at their own risk.
In an emergency, contact emergency services immediately by dialling 999.
Any accident, injury, damage, fault, or security concern should be reported to as soon as reasonably possible.
7. CCTV & Security Monitoring
CCTV operates within parts of the premises for safety, security, and incident investigation purposes.
Access records and facility usage may be monitored to help maintain the safety and security of the building.
8. Respect for the Facility
Y-curate is a shared self-access training environment built on trust, responsibility, and mutual respect.
Failure to follow these procedures may result in suspension or removal of booking access without refund.
